I just bought this and tried to launch, and i only get this message.

I get the exact same error message, I bought unravel 2 with it and that works just fine.

mine just goes back to "play" over and over without ever launching. good think i only spent $2 right? -_-

Refund it, i did refund mine and got money back next day.
From library, help, then technical difficulty, then request refund.

This is a microsoft visual C+ library missing dll. Try installing them manually and see if it works. You can find the libraries downloads here. Make sure to only install the version that works for your pc:

If you read the page, the libraries are known as MSVC, the same dll that is missing above.

Since this game came out in 2015-2017, i would concentrate on those specific libraries. NOTE: MAKE SURE TO INSTALL THE CORRECT ONE OR IT WILL SCREW UP YOUR SYSTEM.

you have to download their new updated app, its called EA app, thats what i did after 3 days of trying to find out what was wrong!!!

I had the same problem. Solved it by going to Control panel -> Apps & features and finding Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x64) 11.0.61030. Clicked Modify and then Repair. After that I launched the game via EA's new app and then it worked.

thank you so much ...i was struggling hard but doing the "Microsoft Visual C++" thing worked great. (I personally needed the 10.0 one to get unravel working) ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
