🤘 The wait is almost over! 🤘

We wanted to let you know that Double Kick Heroes will be leaving Early Access on August 13th 😈

It’s time to jump out of the mosh-pit and into your Gundillac, Sheila, and take on the baddest of badasses and survive in this metal moshing and mayhemic post-apocalyptic nightmarish wasteland.

"Man, it’s been a long journey but we’re pumped to be finally sharing Double Kick Heroes with you all" David Elahee - Headbang Club. "We hope that you love our game as much as we do and enjoy the kick-ass soundtrack we’ve put together to celebrate all things metal. We can’t wait for people to try out air controls for Nintendo Switch which is a heap load of metallic fun, but please drum responsibly".

As well as leaving Early Access, Double Kick Heroes will launch on Nintendo Switch on August 13th, followed by a simultaneous release on Game Pass for Xbox One and PC and the Xbox and Microsoft Store on August 28th!!!

If you've not been following our road through Early Access, here are some features you can expect on August 13th:

A full story mode that’s accompanied by 50 kerranging songs, including the OST Volume 2 Update, by top artists such as Ultra Vomit, Volkorx, Gorod, Jinjer, Carpenter Brut and Gojira!
Unique Rhythm shooter mashup with incredibly detailed pixel art
5 difficulty settings to test even the most metal of metal head’s skills
Tons of accessibility options
USB drum and guitar support on PC (and Xbox One)

In addition to this, we have some Nintendo Switch Joy Con Alternative Motion Control Methods prepared for launch including:

Air drumming - Joy Con used as drumsticks, keeping in rhythm of game
Air beat - Can't drum? No Problem! Stomp to the beat with your Joy Con
Want the all out motion controlled experience and really put that double kick pedal to the metal? Then it's time to use two sets of Joy Con, one in your socks and one in your hands and drum and stomp your way through the apocalypse!

Hi, I saw the game on my wishlist today and wanted to know how the project is doing; however, there seems to be total silence about it. I am a game developer and I fully understand how a project can be delayed up to two years from the date it was supposed to be released. So I hope you don't have to carry out any crunch and that you are in good health, but can you confirm that the project is still going ahead? I really have a very good memory of the first part. Report on the dev please

It's been 4 years now, absolutely no communication on steam at all, no release date, not even one evasive answer, literally NOTHING. So please for god sake, just tell us if it's cancelled or not. If you continue to just let us on the dark, even if it come out I'll not buy it anymore. Without any response I'll just remove the game from my wishlist, I'll not wait for something that doesn't exist....
