u can switch graphics online on and off with number 9 ... enhanced / classic something feels better with enhanced, but even classic looks allright when its 1440p (my native res) not much an difference between them. enhanced has mor esharp and more detail textures on walls , signs etc.. and new lightnings .... several new options in menus..

Played it for 15 minutes and refunded, it wasn't worth the wait. You could achieve almost the same experience with a fan-made pack of AI-upscaled textures, at least that way you wouldn't suffer the excessive bloom effect on all light sources. Removing multiplayer doesn't make any sense for a game that is kept alive by the same community, though I understand the developers had an almost impossible task without the source code. Still, reverse-engineering projects have happened several times for other first-person shooters and I was expecting the same here.

Better multi-core support, native widescreen options, and achievements would have been fine if the core game was intact, but you're getting less for your money. Stick with the original game from Steam or GOG and just install a community bugfix patch, you're better off. Pressing '9' to disable the 'updated' visuals doesn't remove the lengthy loading screens or fix bugged NPC interactions, either, so I couldn't stand playing it. Sorry, 3DR, but this was a disappointing miss.

Maybe if significant patches are released over the years, I'll buy it again.
i've played a few minutes and its worth waiting i dont like putting files on my pc that i don't trust i play in 3440 by 1440p so it's great i can toggle between the retro version and reloaded version is a bonus :steamhappy:

So, credits screen does not show any names, controller settings has 2 formatting bugs, first level loads like for 30 seconds installed on SSD. This Unity port needs patches quick

Hope It turns out cool but I see this in a bundle by Easter next year at £2.96

there are a lot QOL stuffs... definately it plays better. I played original right now and hell its a pain. new version is more modernised and you will not be so lost. 10 will be perfect price (pitty I bought original on gog and not here, I would be satisfy with 50% discount). for 15 I am thinking if refund or not.. for 10 I would keep it. let me play it a little longer...
