Please add support for something else than WASD

QWERTY is not an universal keyboard layout. On my keyboard, W is below S and it makes using WASD impossible. Arrow keys are not a solution as the game expects you to use both space and the mouse.

Please let us rebind the controls, detect the keyboard layout and bind the controls accordingly at startup, or add controller support.

Otherwise very very cool concept, I look forward to release.

Thanks I will look into this. Might not be ready for release but options like that will be something I will patch in very early post release. For the time being are there any apps which may be able to remap these keys for you?

I can download the english language pack on windows and then switch languages. It's not very difficult, but quite annoying.

No controller support currently but that will be added in later alongside some other great stuff.

Just following up on this, remapping controls also would be super handy for those of us who are left-handed and struggle with games with no key remapping.

I tend to remap any game I play to 8456 on the numpad for WASD and arrow keys plus /*-+79123 on the numpad for general controls, as I can't really use a mouse in my right hand accurately.

Unfortunately I'll have to play something else until either remapping or controller support gets patched in, but I can't wait to check it out! :)

I am currently just on this issue now. I am going to see if we can get a nice Press and Hold to Remap with any key. The only thing which is blocking this is just some more graphics will need to be drawn for every key on a standard keyboard. There is also Controller Support coming this week too.

No rebinding is kinda a big deal for many people. As a disabled gamer I play on MKB using a very particular set of binds. I get that indie projects like this have very limited resources but since you're telling a story from a minority perspective, I kinda assumed you'd be ready to welcome minority gamers...

Hey no worries. With your disability setup are there any special keys which are beyond a regular qwerty keyboard? I am just generating graphics now. Controller Support is coming this week, still just waiting on Chinese Translation.

So, reading the hotfix, the text file to remap keys is next to the save file, but where is the save file in the first place and will you be able to remap the keys in game at some point?

You remap the keys in game by clicking and holding on they key you want to remap in the Controls Menu while playing the game
