The screen door effect did exist on the first iterations of VR like the original Vive and Oculus, but the newer stuff doesn't have it thankfully.

I have a first gen Oculus and the picture is perfectly clear. There as never been a screen door effect try harder with your BS next time.

You're just blind, I've been using oculus since before launch and it sure as ♥♥♥♥ has screen door. Best case scenario you're just used to it.

My eyes my not be the best but none of the dozens of people that have played my head set as ever said anything about the picture being grainy. The only thing I hate is the very low frame rate but that is my PCs fault not the HMD.

So, is an FOV slider planned for pancake (desktop) mode? I love VR but also its nice to wear my X-Wing helmet while playing for...reasons.

All this talk about trackIR but is the frame rate fixed? Can I finally play at above 60fps on my 144hz monitor?

Or was that fixed in a previous patch and I'm just sounding like a dink? Do tell please.
