Thanks a Bunch. Thank you very much. time to re-buy your game.
I can't thank you enough this game! VR rendering is amaizing. Everithing is beautifull. The new costum options is perfect! I just cruising with my friends on all maps and it's really enjoyable whitout fighting. I hope we'll see a bigger campaign DLC as x-wing series in the future.
In case I'm wrong - and you're not just desperate for people to see your system specs - the following basic advice should help get you pointed in the right direction.
A recurring, reproducible crash to desktop, like the one you described, is almost never related to system specs. It's almost always related to drivers, configurations, settings, conflicts, OS problems - in other words, software. Not hardware. Issues caused by running a game on an under-spec rig are almost always broad in scope - in other words, low or inconsistent FPS, FPS spikes, control lag, stuttering, frequent and/or random CTD, etc.
This is not the best place - or any place at all - to solve your issue. You'll never see a patch note from the devs that says: "Fixed a very specific crash to desktop for players with Win 10, i9-9900k, RTX 3090, 2TB Samsung SSD, 32G RAM, and an ultra-widescreen 4K monitor." I'm going to reward your lack of contextual awareness with more advice, however. I shouldn't. Because you definitely just wanted to post your system specs, Sir Brags-A-Lot. But, maybe it will help someone else.
Especially when your problem is so narrowly definable - initiate a support request through Steam or EA. YMMV on getting a useful response from an initial support ticket but, that's why we also have forums. Search forums - and everywhere, really - to try and get a sense of how widespread your issue is. Is the same thing happening to thousands, hundreds, a dozen, or just you? If it's happening the exact same way to at least a few other people - one of them may have solved it already.
If you search for 20 minutes and can't find anyone else with the same problem - something is wrong with your system. Not systems with the same specs - your system.
If that's the case, (unlikely but nowhere near impossible) ya gotta do the things. Run system integrity scan/restore on Windows. Run DDU and reinstall graphics drivers. Turn off or uninstall every BS thing that's running while the game is running to see if that fixes it - if it does turn them back on one at a time until it breaks again. If it come down to it, pull it apart. Re-seat everything. It was clearly recently slapped together - ya never know. Can't hurt. Ya know - the things.
Hope this has been informative. Have fun with your rig - I forget what the specs are on it, I'm not sure you mentioned them. If you ever buy a sports car, come on back and let us know about all the option packages you chose. Make sure to do it by ♥♥♥♥-posting a reply to some unrelated patch notes.
wow finally . should have been in release. I can reinstall it again now...
I just hope I can now use only mouse and not my hotas to control the damn menu. I dislike console UI menu's on pc games..
