Hey guys, I played the game on EA and have around 500 hours since the game came out.

Is there still a playerbase? I tried to launch a game for around 10minutes and there wasnt a match yet. So I guess people play it rarely...

If so, why did that happen? The community seemed to be nice and its really the best flightsimulator in my opinion. Also the developers put a lot of love in it, and at least in the beginning years they fine tuned the ships and the damage/ amor etc.

Hope to find some guys to play with... Also thought to buy some hotas finally... back than I was coming up to the bronze rewards (no bragging ;) )

Yeah, I can't find a server to join either, not been able to for months. I'm gutted about it, the dogfights in this game are amazing!

Re Hotas joystick - do it! Makes the game 100x better, makes your flying 100x better. Spend the money, you will NOT regret it!

It's a pitty that there seem to be no communitybase anymore :c

I haven't bought the HOTAS yet... I would really love to, but on the otherhand Squadrons would be the only game where I need them. So if the game is more or less dead, I would spend a hundred bucks for nothing....

Any suggestions for a good game where the use of Hotas makes sense, too? :D

I still play this and would be interested in a team up battle. Not played online mp before though.
