Stuck screen after trying to connect?

If I let the game trying to connect the servers I get a purple screen with an useless Cancel at the top right corner. If I do not block the connection in time the game doesnt launch and gets stuck here. Any solution? Or its just the online is just dead already? Would be a pitty that the game stays like this because only now I have a decent graphics card to enjoy it in VR at its max settings... :(

Online works for me. It's not dead. This sounds like the issue where you need to disable 2FA on your EA account, but I'm not confident about it.

I get the same thing. Either the game quits while booting, or it tells me I need to connect to my EA account to play. When I click reconnect, I get a blank screen with "close" at the top. I tried blind entering my username and password for my EA account. I tried running Steam and Origin as administrator, and nothing works. I wish I could get a refund for this crappy game set up.

same issue - I don't have an EA ac count - so what to do?
