VR mode won't start with Quest 3
After starting the game i try to toggle the VR mode. When i accept it tells me to press a certain button to calibrate the headset. When i push or push and hold the button it just jumps back to the menu and nothing happens. Tried with Air Link and Cable Link, always the same result. Elite dangerous for example works like a charm.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Try opening the no-vr version first from steam, then when you are in game menu, open virtual desktop streamer from pc, and only then open virtual desktop from your quest 3. Then toggle vr on from game menu. That worked for me.

Thanks for the reply.
I do not know what i did wrong initially.
Now it just works when I connect the Quest 3, activate the link, start Steam VR and then start Squadrons in VR mode from the PC.

Same here. Tried toggling VR from non-vr mod with no luck. Game is broken.

i had the same gray-screen-problem

the solution for me was to turn off the Login Verification

to turn it off you need to login at the ea-website: ea.com
-> My Account -> Security -> Login Verification

Game is launching fine for me on Quest 3, but after roughly 20 min of gameplay, the screen will flicker and after that the head tracking becomes jerky as hell until I relaunch the game.
I cannot complete a single match without having this issue.

Anyone else experience this?

I have the same issue: no VR. I had it working well in VR just running the desktop shortcut and toggling VR once in the game, but a few days ago it just wouldn't go into VR mode. I'm using a cloud PC (AirGPU), Virtual Desktop, and Quest 3. This was my favorite VR game and now it just doesn't work in VR. When I try launching it through SteamVR, it gives the Up Next thumbnail and then that just disappears. WHen I go to the desktop, Squadrons is no longer running. Other VR games work fine from Steam or SteamVR.

I did have the grey screen issue, but that was resolved by connecting my EA account or just using B to cancel the connection attempt.

Took me days to get it working on a quest 2, but then it defaults to keyboard input and none of my controlelrs work so I cannot play it at all.
There must be something I'm going wrong

Squadrons doesn't use VR controllers (no motion control, too few inputs), or are you trying to use a gamepad?
