i just tried to enter any gamemode but because every time the timer goes above 2 minutes im asking myself if this game is still played by enough players to play a normal match Oo

Yes, there are a lot of people who still play it. In addition, on November 24 the game will be free on the Epic Store so there will be more players available.

its no use for me that epic has the game for free because i own the game for a long time already :)

If you get a team of 5 players in your group you can directly start matchmaking in Coop (Fleet Battles) and jump directly into the action in no time!

the problem is to get a team of 5 players because none of my friends plays this game ^^'

Maybe you can try adding players in the previous post I mentioned if you want. (I know that's not the ideal solution)

Wouldn't have too man0y hopes that the Epic version brings in new players for long - this game is horrible on PC

well i in my opinion like the game on pc ^^ because i was always more the pc type

Game is broken since the day it was introduced by irresponsible EA DEvs. Can't even launch the game since 2 years ago. All EA games are trash anyway. Game is dead.

I prefer PC games, too but it's obvious with the controls that it's a console port.

Flying with a keyboard and mouse is nearly impossible, witlhout a joystick or controller most players are screwed

the game feel great in VR, but the menu controll with mouse forgotten to implement is a pain in the ass. Developer should have send to moon with their xbox controller.

Agreed. I played through it when it first came out in VR. Hadn’t touched it much since then until just the other day. I’m really enjoying the campaign in VR. Pretty fun experience.

this game died on day 1 and got abandoned by devs months later
a-wing made this game so unplayable it was unreal. unkillable space cockroach that not only had extremely small hitbox but also a lot of hp and dmg too. first weekend everyone was using it and leaving empire matches because it was autolose.
heard they did nerf some stuff but meh i aint having it
they scared the vast majority of the playerbase with unbalanced bs
glad some people got this for free. it aint worth $10

Mea culpa, but I disagree. I just finished the campaign on an RTX3050, on a 65 inch 4k UHD at high settings and it was absolutely Fantastic. These things are far more subjective than your post suggests. I completely understand and respect your opinion, however. This reply wasn't meant to start a quarrel, just meaning to let folks with a PC know that it can be really great...if you are fully aware of the settings involved, GeForce drivers, Nvidia Control Panel, etc. Personally I loved the experience on my PC and it was nearly Cinematic the whole time at an average of 160+ FPS with zero hiccups even in the Crazy heat of battle.

July of 2023...EA through Steam...game launches beautifully, stable as hell frame rate at 160+ FPS on a 65 inch 4k at 1440. With sincere respect, perhaps there are some settings you might have missed? Hardware issues? I dunno, I am bummed you can't even launch the game at all. It's a great game all the way through.
