Does anyone still play multiplayer?

Yes! every evening. Q times for dogfights less than 2 minutes. Q times for ranked fleet battles less than 5 minutes.

this is a shame but at least after 2 weeks on offline there's a reaction from EA GAMES another one . The game was also shut down in multi in the end of 2021. PC server are unabled in the garage like your X-wing ;/ Train your Darkside of the force until combat ;)

Online play (dogfights & ranked fleet battles) works just fine. Played all last night with no trouble at all. Matter of fact it's a double XP weekend!

yep, i seen players from lvl 1-250 or above by the last two days.
quite cool and within less than a minute you can join fights
(as mentioned above: dogfights & ranked fleet battles).
I allways get timed-out if trying to join a non-customized, not-ranked 5 player vs AI Fleetbattle.
Since it`s sayed it needs 5 players in squad to start it might take that long (or is the dead part of the game, so far ( feel free to contact me, if you are into co-op pve) and makes it impossible fo me, atm, to finish one daylie mission)

Yes, a lot of people still play multiplay. Most of them are located in North America though, so if you want to play with them you have to play in the North American timezones.

Almost no one plays Fleet Battle vs. AI anymore though. Your best bet to play that is to get together with a group on one of the Discord servers for this game and play as a group of five together.

There are timeframes within 24 hours really no one is on for a match. :-( seem to be around 10 AM GMT to 2 PM GMT. So 20 hours a day you will find a match within 3 Minutes.

BUG! Sometimes you dont find a match despite enough players are looking for a match. To be sure matchmaking is not bugged join or create a custom match, leave, then search again. Especial after queuing for dogfight/quickmatch and change to Fleetbattles vice versa.

Fleetbattle vs AI always nice with a 5 man pre assembled squad. It still takes 20 Seconds to search.
