Xbox 360 Controller Constantly rolling to the Left!?..

Yesterday when I was about to play this my 360 controller have a constant push on the left analog stick, and randomly presses on left D pad. So in game I'm rolling left and can only use engine mapping!?..
Never been like this before, and have checked the controller in kontrol panel and it doesn't have a left push there.
Have also tried with other 360 controllers, and same thing happens in game..

That's an odd one. I've not had that specific thing, but I did experience a drift to either the left or right once (I forget which) that kept happening and I discovered it was because the cable of my controller was knocking my mouse.

That was causing it to pull the "mouse steering" to one side and cause the shift to have a constant turn as the mouse was still active even though I was using gamepad controls.

I'd potentially check other inputs to your PC in case something is conflicting or influencing input like a mouse or dodgy keyboard. Also try (if you haven't) different USB connections for the controller (if it's wired, or for the dongle if it has one for wireless)

Hehehe, mouse is on the other side so can't be that, will try disconnecting some other stuff as well next time I try. Thanks for the reply!

I can't get it to work..
Have tried to have other devices disabled and tried different usb ports, and do to that it shows no inputs in control panel, and same thing with my sons 360 controllers, something must have happened with the game..

That's annoying. Have you tried verifying the game files? If that fails, try removing and reinstalling the game, sometimes that'll clear things.

May be worth doing the same things with SteamVR as well.

alt tab and alt tab again will fix it.
it hapends everytime for me if I type something in the chat, or restore the gime with mouse click after alt tab

Sadly don't work for me..
And verifying game files did not work eiyher.
Will try reinstalling..

shut off the game, unplug your controller. Plug your controller back in and restart the game. If unsuccessful, unplug the controller and restart your PC, then reconnect your controller.

Reinstalling worked for me, but next time I tried again, it was back again.. EA.. . .
