Report a translation problem
The only standard issue that I am aware of that you have not mentioned is: Make sure that your stick is connected and ready in your game controller windows settings before you start squadrons. And under the advanced option there you can make the device your preferred device.
And on the steam library, under properties from your squadrons game, make sure that steam input devices is on "force off"
Now I am not a fan of that particular stick for PC use (I guess it is fine for consoles, not much better options there anyway), but it should work just fine with squadrons. A lot of people are pretty happy with the stick.
Have you calibrated your stick on the Windows Game Controller page? Does it work correctly there? And I would assume ingame the stick is not listed in the device list on the controls page?
