How do I get the game past the Easy Anti Cheat Launcher

I've got a brand new MSI GL Leopard. So a clean install and everything up to date. I want to play Squadron, but I cant get past the Easy Anti Cheat launcher. I cant find anuthing on EA...

because he's probably having the same issue a lot of us are. You launch the game, get a message that Anti-cheat isn't working and it crashes or reboots your PC

He stated it was a new Laptop. So please read; better yet, log-off..

If you download Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) manually that usually solves the problem.

You can grab it from here:

I know sometimes the default software (bloatware) with laptops can sometimes cause issues with EAC running correctly.

Well, Easy Anti Cheat game with the game. So I cant get past the first launcher screen. Already tried a new EAC. It loads the blue bar, and then... nothing. Won't start the game. Already tried updating, but everything is up to date,

I disabled all non essential services. Disabled fire wall/anti virus. Reïnstalled evrything I could think of. Clean boot... I just wont get past that stupid Anti Cheat darn thing. I wanted to play this game so bad! Am I the only one?

I am having this same issue with all EAC games currently. Built a new custom PC for my son, and no EAC games will get passed the initial EAC loading screen. Same anti virus as on my PC, have tried every solution I could find online and nothing has worked. All the EAC games on his old laptop still work so I don't get it.

If you have any lighting control apps running like razer chroma turn them off and give it a try. EAC can flag them because they can be used to get hacks running i guess.

I cannot find a download link on that site and their support page refers to using the version that was installed by the game itself. Is there something that I'm overlooking?

If you have an ASUS x570 mobo like I do, the newest beta BIOS fixed it (3201).

I have a laptop where the game runs fine but on my brand new desktop build, the game running under EAC causes it to crash immediately without any error. EAC log shows no error but the game has dumped. The PC is brand new with an i9-10850 processor and a 3080 rtx video card. If I run the executable directly and not through the launcher we runs EAC, the game works fine but you can’t play multiplayer without EAC.

I haven't been able to play the game since the xmas update, launcher error 2, multiple people posting about having it and support contacted and yet we still don't have a fix.

I wish I got an error. After the blue bar fills on EAC splash screen, it just quits out. But the game has dumped.

Note that if I run the game without EAC, it starts normally. I can play the single missions but you need EAC for multiplayer. I have an Intel i9 chip and not AMD so a bios upgrade probably won’t work.

yeah, this just started happening for me. I'd been able to play it a bit, put it down for a few days, come back and now it won't get past the "easy cheat" system. Has anyone gotten this problem solved?
