They locked the servers to regions only.. so I've heard. Just Spent the last 50mins trying to get a "quick game" Thanks EA

Good im glad they locked it to regions....It was a waste of time playing in a server hosted on the other side of the planet anyway.

Makes perfect sense ....have you tried playing this when you're in a game hosted in another region? Its impossible

It's not impossible, only if you are really too far away from the servers, i played a lot the MP and i think most of them it was probably NA servers and i never had any issue with lags and now i can't even find another MP match again because of this *probably* region lock issue.

If a region lock was really implemented and this is not just a random weird bug, then i think they should instead give the choice for users to select another region, like they did with battlefront 2 for example in the EA account menu option, if not i don't think i will ever play the game again simple because of insufficient players in my region.

Yes they should indeed give us the choice. My choice is to not play on servers that are not in my region but that may not be other people choice. Im in Australia and the game is unplayable when you're in a match hosted in Russia for example. i am just pure fodder.
The other night i joined a server and it was local i went 19-9 then the next server was Russian and i went 2-20...same exact loadout....My shots were hitting but no hit rego.
They really stuffed this game...it could have no should have been great but in typical EA style they killed it for a money grab.
And it is impossible to play this game if you are in Australia and have to play on a russian hosted server... they should be refunding all of us our money

You are right, in your case there should be a region lock indeed. Now in my case there is not much people playing SW games here, this one i think it's especially difficult because of the high price, so it's very needed to go to another region.

Battlefront 2 is another example, even being a old game with a "cool price", still today is almost impossible to play any MP gamemodes in my region, but there is the region change thing in the options, so when i select the NA servers i can play quick matches easy.
Now i don't get why this game doesn't have it and now i can't play the MP part anymore possibly because of it.
