My Steam version VR is NOT working WTF!!

You are going into VR settings and toggling VR? You have to do that each time you start the game, so you start on your monitor, wait for everything to load, then go into VR settings and toggle VR.

Or you can launch the game in VR from steam library.

Or you can right click the game icon on desktop, under launch options type in -vr and it will always launch in VR.

I use VR, have a rifht though. When I star the game, its asking me if I want to play in VR or not. Also there is a button mapping in the options somewhere that lets you switch between VR and non-VR. Not sure if it is any different for the vive though.

Kilo i have a OG Vive as well.. What issue are you running into?

* Make sure SteamVR is working and you can see the SteamVR Dashboard in your headset
* Launch Squadrons and when you get the prompt select Launch in VR or Launch from within the SteamVR Dashboard
* You should now see in your headset the squadrons splash screen indicating that is loading
* Once in the game and you see the menu use the "-" key to center your view
* IMPORTANT: Go to your video options and change from FullScreen to windowed or borderless window (I use Windows Mode) - if you don't do this the VR won't work properly
* IMPORTANT: Disable HDR if you have it enabled.. if your monitor is detected as HDR the game will automatically turn this on. Turning it off will fix the washed out color look (since the Vive is not HDR)

Side Note: If you have an Nvidia card the latest drivers are working ok.. There was a driver version shortly after squadrons that broke for me but the latest drivers are golden.

It seems that my SteamVR software had been uninstalled somehow. Took me awhile to get calibrated again after re-installing SteamVR Squadrons is now up and running in VR.

as it stands for the moment... ♥♥♥♥ EA games, game will not work properly through EA origin app or on steam, an absolute waste of money...

I hear the sound but i cannot se any image, oculus app shows my headset connected and I can hear the music but it's eitehr janky as hell or doesn't display, any tips?
