Yea, I have done that. I was hoping with the update I could add bots to dogfights.

If you're looking at something similar to the earlier Battlefield 1942 system where you could add in 30 bots to the other side, no, you can't do that on Squadrons.

So with the new custom game we still cannot have our best bud with bots on one team and only bots on the other team?
I dont know how many slots this game has per team but if its 5v5, then what I am asking for is:
2 humans and 3 bots verses 5 bots?

I don't do multiplayer so I've no experience with it. I do the Vs. AI a bit though. If you're trying to stack your team one way or another, I don't think it's possible. It's a pretty simplistic multiplayer layout.

There is an achievement: Stay on Target
Won 15 Co-op Fleet Battles vs. AI.

It actually may be possible to do coop vs AI judging by that.

A little searching and I found this:
The key to forming a co-op party in Star Wars Squadrons is through the in-game Social Menu. It’s here you can invite up to four other friends to join your party prior to jumping into Dogfights or Fleet Battles.

Yea i found it too, however it seems to indicate there is no way to make sure the other slots are only bots and not to start matchmaking...

FYI, Coop is not private. You can form parties with friends, but if you have fewer than 5 it will find random people to join.

You can, however, play solo with four bots against a team of five bots.

It appears you can set a Fleet Battle vs. AI Coop match to private. Set up a match, invite your friends and launch. If the settings are correct, only your friends will be able to join. Unless they invite someone in, it will only be your friends.

Bots will populate but you can't control how many.
