Can't run MY Star Wars: Squadron in my VR
I can't run my game in my Quest 2 headset. When I ran the game it went blank but the sound was playing.

So far i had tried:
1. Reinstalling the game
2. Reinstalling the VC driver
3. and changing the DPI.

Can anybody help me? Thanks it is much appreciated.

I believe you must run it from the paid Oculus Virtual Desktop APP.

to the OP - On the Quest 1, it will do that if you run it in "Full Screen" mode and the game puts itself in the background (often does this itself for unknown reasons). If you then click on the Starwars icon on taskbar, or alt/tab, it will bring it back on the VR. Hopefully it's the same on Quest 2.

Just a heads up - if you get it to run, be ready for some other bugs

Here's how I launched it the first time. Launch the oculus app, connected the quest 2, tell the quest 2 to link, launch the game as you would for regular flat screen mode. In the game options VR settings enable VR mode and it switched over to the headset. After that the Oculus app has had the game in the quick launch options at the side and when launching that way it goes straight into VR mode.

You do have to check the game window has focus as sometimes it loses it when starting up and then you either won't see or won't hear anything in the headset.

No worries bois i have figured it out. Thanks for the feed back. If anyone reads this and using quest 2 via virtual desktop (wirelessly) just run the game directly from the Vr desktop dont run it via steam VR. apparently there is a bug games such as Elite Dangerous and Starwars VR cant run well at all from the steam VR.
