Lock S-Foils in Attack Position.
This is an excellent game. But you missed an important part!

There needs to be both a command in every mission, followed by a button push.... to

....Lock S-Foils in Attack Position!

I have been waiting since I was a little kid for Garven Dreis to tell me to "Lock S-foils in Attack position."

I have a switch on my throttle all lined up for S foil management. (Normally I think it's for flaps...)

Anyway, we NEED THIS IN GAME!

And what exactly would that accomplish? In earlier games, closing the S-Foils just made you unable to fire lasers on the X-Wing. Closing the S-Foils on a U-Wing would make you a smaller target, but would you still be able to fire its lasers?

Max speed was increased IIRC.

TBH I would love for it to make a comeback for something like that. When you need to get out, close the S-foils; you go much faster but the tradeoff is you can't fire.

Honestly, I'd much more be able to couple lasers on the fly like in the old games (go from single, to double, to quadruple whenever you want).

Now that would be a great hit of nostalgia if implemented in this game.

There aren't any buttons on controllers left over.

Additionally, it seems like S-foils should be closed in atmospheric, but I suppose Ep 7 killed that idea.
