how to run the game in VR mode (Origin version)?

after enable the "VR toggle" into the game i see the Game in VR into the headset, but the game play only with the keyboard an mouse and not with the gamepad of Oculus quest, It's also possible to play with the gamepad? this version has the full support for the controller as the steam version? thanks

Squadrons dont work with VR controllers.
Only KM, HOTAS or gamepad.
It is better with any gamepad.

All versions (both Steam and Origin and Epic) do not work with VR controllers.
When a game is launched from another store, it must launch SteamVR itself. If this does not happen, try to start SteamVR first and start the game from it.

I have the game through Origin as well and am having the same issues.

I tried that as well (adding the game as a non-Steam game) and still did not run in VR for me.

The game works fine when not in VR and all my other SteamVR games work just fine

Have you tried contacting EA support? They respond quickly. Yes, at first they will give trivial advice, but sometimes they help a lot.

I don't use SteamVR, so this is just a guess, but worked for me to get Steam Overlay and Steam Controller working.

Disable Origin In-Game Overlay both in the Origin App Settings and in the SW:Squadrons game properties in Origin.

Then add a non-steam game and target the Origin app, not the game executable.

Make sure Origin is not running (quit, not just minimised to tray), then launch Origin via steam and then the game.

See how you go...

I wrote in the support EA but no one answered me. all the VR games I have on steam works fine for me but this one I have on Origin does not. i think that the Origin version doesn't not support VR at all so i have to buy it on steam if i want the VR

This is so stupid I bought this game as it advertised VR support but using a Keyboard or controller is cracked.
