No specific option for Thrustmaster, Saitek etc etc.
(Edit I use a Warthog. Works fine,)
My first impression of the videos is that they just took Battlefront 2's space battles, added directional/powered shielding (similar to Elite Dangerous's energy allocation), copy/pasted the maps from Battlefront 2 (minus a few), and added a few different abilities. But for some reason reduced lobby size to 10. Is that about it?
How difficult is it to add/play with friends on Xbox & PS4 at the same time?
NIce.
Enjoy!
But ingame I only see Keyboard/Mouse and Controller. Even though, I don't have a gamepad. My joystick does work with gamepad settings but Z axis is not working and speed is only 0% or 100%.
It's a pain...
I'm getting my moneys worth out of this stick lol.
It is working for me btw you should see flightstick I had to restart the game with it plugged in
Try the following, as this solved it for me:
1. Check the switch at the back of the unit and make sure it is set to PC.
2. Disconnect the stick and reconnect it to a different USB port. (I would recommend the back ports as I've heard issues about the front ports not detecting it correctly)
3. Wait for the PC to do it's plug and play set up. Then in your start menu type "Set up USB Game controllers". Open this and check to see if it is listed. If it has worked correctly it should show as T.Flight hotas X.
If there are any brackets in the name like (PS3) or (PS4) it has not worked and you may need to completely uninstall the stick using device manager and start again.
Hopefully this helps you and anyone else having the same problem.
Yes, got my Cyborg 2003 and it's still the best allrounder joystick I can find. So far never had trouble and still use it for Elite and X4.
But thank you for your answer, looks like I don't need to give my hopes up.
I did force it off. No difference...
I might try those tipps. Thank you. I totally forgot, I did have game controllers set up for my system. Might kick them out all together and try to reinitialize everything again.
Fingers crossed...
It's not that complicated, most of the problems are due to steam input interfering with the detection followed by WIndows giving low priority to the controller of choice (which has been a problem FOREVER in joystick games).
p.s. also whenever the Saitek is connected, the game starts but goes to black and goes back to desktop. I thought it was a coincidence but sadly the game starts completely fine if the joystick is not connected....super weird thing.
