Error 918

I cannot play online and have tried just everything I can think of debug, no matter what I get 918 error related to connecting on online. Battlefront 2 (DICE version) is working fine, so it seems like my origin account and linking are fine? Here's what I could dig up on EA's site, they current have a 3 hour wait to talk to CS.

At least single player is pretty cool and VR works decently when not crashing.

I talked to CS, and they pretty much said that multiple people are having this issue and that they've passed the information on to the devs. There's no fix at the moment...

I am currently having the same issue with code 918 . EA account is linked , i also reset the password twice . Checked firewaall settings and such , also no VPN or any other issues like antivirus . even temp disabled all firewall/antivirus . and still nothing . I hear its got something to do with time zone issues but its now late afternoon on oct 2nd and i have friends who are in the same time zone and basically same city who never had the issue at all . I am at a loss for words

Having the same problem. I wish I could just return the game, but I wasted a $10 coupon on it, so now I have to wait to see if EA decides to fix it.

can they just fix this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ error already, a quarter of their playerbase is on steam and half of those players cant even play. Im not one to be impatient but I stayed up all night to get some gameplay and Its been 15+ hours since game launch and I cant even use my preorder skins to edit my guys or even play online. MAKE THIS A PRIORITY EA..

Same issue. My fiance next to me has the same computer as I do. We launched it at the same time, her's works, mine does not, I get 918. It's EA being EA again, maybe they should of done a public play test, what a concept.

Same problem here. I did notice that the game is only on steam for me. It is not showing in my origin launcher. All other steam EA purchases show in steam and Origin account.

I'm still amazed it wasn't fixed before launch. EA didn't bother to test all platforms before release?

Having the same issue. I couldn't enter my details the 1st time it popped up to link accounts, as my resolution was all screwy. I set the correct resolution and relaunched.

Now I don't even get an option to link the account, just the Error 918 message.

Any solutions yet?

EDIT: After completing the first stage of the campaign, I was able to access a login option again and was successful. Hope this helps.
