Trandoshan rebel pilot? They don't even know their own lore anymore lmao..
Trandoshans are a strict tribal society, they believe that hunting is sacred. They eat other aliens which include humans and fight as mercenaries for the empire or for the black sun. Frankly most of the Trandoshans are not good if you judge them by human standards, most of them hate humans and are extremely racist towards other races. Which is why it makes no sense what so ever to have them among the rebels.

I am interested to see the pretty much first non evil trandosian. Besides, it's better than having no aliens represented and I'm glad they did it.

The Jedi Consular had a companion in Star Wars: The Old Republic that was a "good" Trandoshan. Yeah he still strictly wanted to hunt because of his heritage and that society but he wasn't "evil"

It's not evil for a Trandoshan to eat humans, they view it as natural. For us it's evil but for them it's monday supper.
If they could be Jedi (Lissarkh) than what is the reason to some of them fight for rebelion? Of course beyond "you don't like that" reason...

and here there are a million threads complaining about how "woke" the rebel characters are when in reality they have one of the most racist aliens in the Star Wars universe!

There was at least a "good" trandoshan in the Knights of the Old Republic comic from Dark Horse before Disney bought the franchise. So this is nothing new.

Criminal does not = Rebel

In fact a smuggler would likely sell out the rebels in a heartbeat for a payout and not getting executed.

That's even previous than the one I mentioned. Talon Karrde ruled. :steamhappy:

There is no such thing as set in stone with star wars
Hunting is sacred to them, is flying a starfighter to hunt down the remnants of the Empire not hunting?

Thats not the point I'm trying to make. OP is making Trandoshans out to sound like primitive beasts that would sooner eat you than work with you, but thats not the case as countless Transdoshans work as rebels, smugglers, mercenaries, etc. for various factions. Smugglers Alliance is one such faction and the SA had close ties to the Rebel Alliance/New Republic. Of course this is also Legends, but since Disney sucks at its own lore, Legends is the only thing to fill the gap.
