What about HTC Vive support on Origin ?

No if you want VR, you'll have to buy it here. As far as I'm aware if you buy it here, Vive will be supported

The shop page states that the game supports the vive, meaning it accesses with Open VR (steam VR). And thus will be open to any platform. Maybe you will have to create a link in your steam library, but i doubt it is even necessary. I launch several VR games i bought on GOG just fine. And thats the good thing about Valve. You are welcome to use their technology no matter what you buy and where you got it.

I don't think there should be a problem with that. It will even be possible to run SteamVR separately and the exe file with the -vr parameter will force VR support for the external Steam application.
