Dlc content missing

So steam shows I have all the dlc but when it loads in origin it loads the edition without the dlc and it’s not installed instead of the steam version that is locked out because my ea pass is expired.
I did buy the game so I know that’s not an issue. I tried starting the game with the correct version and nothing. I reinstalled the game, I deleted all folders I could find but this game keeps booting without the dlc. Like I don’t even have the dragon gear or dlc skins. This is how I know the rest of the dlc isn’t loading and I progressed far enough so the decent should be at the war table.
I did try adding mods but I highly doubt that would force the wrong client to load.

. Jaws of Hakkon and The Descent will not show up on the war table until you are at Skyhold. Trespasser will not show up until Corypheus is defeated.



If you are having problems with a game in general, the first thing to do is verify that your game files are good. The term varies depending on the game company's interface. For Origins, go to your game library, right click on the game and choose Repair. Clean installs should be the last resort and done only out of total desperation.

I got to skyhold, so i know something should have popped up at least. I also dont have any of the DLC armor/weapons/mounts you get either. It loads in as a standard version of the game and not a GOTY edition.
i've also repaired in both steam and Origins and reinstalled it twice.

-Go to this Link: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/3779

1) download and extract the ProfileOptions file
2) paste the file into %userprofile%\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save. Optionally backup your original file if you're paranoid
3) launch the game and enjoy

NOTE: Do NOT connect to the Dragon Age Keep or the game will break and you'll have to replace the file again. Yes that means you're locked out of online, but this is a game from 2014...

This is a bugfix acknowledged by EA Support and the EA Answers DA:I forum mods, and it's helped dozens of people since the community discovered it in late 2021. I have been providing the fixed ProfileOptions file via Discord DMs for months now, but wanted to upload the fix here for everyone's convenience.

"Yes that means you're locked out of online, but this is a game from 2014..." Yet it's been sold on here as if it is fully working with all DLC, so you would expect it to work and not rely on links outside of steam, you should be able to just download from here and play.

Ive had no issues with it and that solution is just deleting profile data and replacing it was the base file

It was Dawn Wolf that was having issues with the DLC that's why this thread exists, I never said you were having issues, I just bought this game today, I wonder what the odds are that the DLC for this won't work for me either without needing other files from outside Steam?

I could't even get this game to start so I asked for a refund... Won't be needing any guides unless the problems are there from EA Origin version, when I eventually buy again.

I appreciate the time you spent creating a guide to help people, but I think I'll just stick with the console version, I see people have the same issue with the EA/Origin version too. I bought this to make it more convenient for me, I wasn't expecting to have to jump through hoops to get the game to work (I did almost all of the things in your guide before viewing your guide, except for create another account, I'm not going through all that for a game), I just wanted to install and play, and it would have saved me time having it on PC too... Oh well nvm. Thanx!

yeah having to connect to ea beacuse the game s old sucks

Even the EA version isn't working, people having the same issues, that's why I'm not buying it on Origin or through EA app.
