Do i need to subscribe to origin?

I want to buy sims, because its only 10euros. But its very unclear if I need to buy the Origin subscription, or if I can play with just the 10€ game. Please can someone explain this?

Yes, you need an EA Account first, download Origin, have a Steam account and Steam, link your Steam and EA account and then you should be able to play the game.

Frankly you are better off getting the game on Origin instead, no link accounting to worry about and TS4 is going to be launched and ran from Origin anyway. You might just save yourself a lot of trouble in the process. Obviously wait on a sale on Origin if you consider it like that (next sale shouldn't be too far away because of the holiday season at the end of the year).

While you do need an Origin account (as well as the launcher) to play the game, you don't need the subscription. However, if you pay the subscription you don't need to buy the game. It's an Xbox Game Pass scenario, where you pay the subscription to be able to play almost all of EA's games. Far cheaper, but you end up paying more in the long run if you keep paying for it.

I would like to ask about this, so when we purchase the TS4 in steam, we must signed up on origin first before playing the game? and the subscription to EA Play is no need means we don't need to pay again after the game purchase on steam, right? only the signed up on origin matters??

You just need to have an account with EA (i.e., create a username and password), and EA will download the Origin launcher. There is no need to pay for either of those. You only pay for the Steam version of the game.

If you want the game to run properly, this is the best way to do it. If you try to get around any of this, then you might have problems, and you might be posting threads on here asking why the game doesn't work or why it crashes, etc.
