Game crash after Nov 2020 update

I have done the following :
- uninstalled ReShade,
- removed custom content mods,
- deleted localthumbscache file

Basically it's "clean" without any mods.

Game still crash when I'm playing my vampire in Forgotten Hollow. Doesn't matter what my sim is doing the game still crash.

Anybody same out there?

Yeah me it crash went somewhat randmly went i'm playing a mage. I searched online and read that's the Pc version was already fixed but i still get the problem! I havent tried to start a new savefiles but cmon! I never used mods or nothing so it cant be that's! I really dont know what could be happening...

a good number of users are getting a crash with this update, it doesn't matter if they have mods or CC or a vanilla install, it seems to be something the team introduced in this update.

It depends if they wish to get a hot fix out for it in the meantime or wait until the middle of december for the next patch to correct the issue...

yes, me too! i started a new save file today to mess w/ the update and the vampires, and i can't go five minutes without a crash. i've never used mods before, and it's even happening to me. probably because of the new update :(

I'v started a new gamefile with the mage characteur still and it's still not working. I'v read online a "fix" ( for the ps4 version at least) is to unistal and reinstale the game. Not gonna try it as my internet is garbage rn but if i find something i'll say it.

Failed to fix this crash. Without any mods, I tried to play Willow Creek & Newcrest, each I play for 30minutes, game working fine with no problem, no mods.
And then I play 1-sim vampire in Forgotten Hollow, it crash AGAIN. Sound was gone after a while playing, my sim didn't have voice, no click sound from my mouse, and then I turned up volume in sim's stereo to High, all sounds were gone! Totally a mute game. Shortly after my game just crashed.
Couple days ago I test the new update with mods enabled, just like i was saying my other Worlds are working fine. But when it comes to F.Hollow, game seems to crash without any specific condition.
Certainly it's not about mods anymore, its about the update. Something is crashing with Vampire pack probably. Mostly crashes occur during sims interaction. i have no problem at all when in Build mode, building platform and put furniture on it.

Hopefully EA fix this error FAST, because so many players are experiencing crashes/errors/furniture dislocate, interaction problem. All these I got from internet that i searched yesterday.

I'm getting crashes too.. It's a fresh install with no mods, I've just been saving often and it's worked out.

Tbh me it's crashed like 3 time before i gave up with a save i created before the update while in willow Creek, i was playing with a mage. The second was in glimerbrook, same characteur. but a new fresh save made before... So that's interesting...

Same for me. PC version crashing...
Can play around 20 minutes then it always simply closes...
That 's not funny. Hope for a fix soon

I already crashed my game three times in since the patch. I already reported on that post several times. I hope they fix it soon. NOTE: I own it on origin, not on steam, but i know what's what in the game.I unfortanetly cannot upload my saves, so if you can all like it says on the first page also with the config log, error crash, and dxdiag also. Just make sure you tell them your using mods or no and the version your using..like for example, i imagine your all using the steam version here... From your friends at EA Answers..happy gaming!

Yes, my game shuts shuts down without warning every couple of hours.

May as well try to play without sound for now, until next week. Really hope the fix can REALLY fix the error.

I bought Sims 4 deluxe and Vampires and Real of Magic packs recent last sales
Yeah same problem random crashes seem happend maybe 1h or 40 min before crashing on normal sims neighborhoods but seem that Forgotten Hollow is broken for me in there first try with new sim and some reason sound like talking sound didint come second try with new sim and before midnight it crashes everytime
