The only thing i've noticed in their FAQ was
But my Ryzen 7 3800X is just 8 Core cpu.
btw. HR and BTS work fine, only DBH doesnt work.
other specs are: Ryzen 7 3800X, RTX 2070 Super, 32gb ram.
I recall it not working too back when i had old system(back in december, when the games dropped on EGS, same symptoms like insta crash with no windows or dialog boxes spawned, only dmp being made): i5-4670K, GTX 1060, 16gb ram
7700k
rtx2070s
32gb ram
windows is updated, drivers too. Have no problems with other games. It's the first time in years (i can't even remember how many years) the game fails to launch.
p.s resolution scale was the problem 1.0 no CTD.
At first, it showed a dialogue box basically saying my driver was outdated, I could press OK to continue anyway or cancel. I pressed OK, it didn't do anything, so I figured maybe I should update my driver.
After updating my driver, it won't even open. I can see the process in Task Manager with status Running, then in two seconds it became Suspended and then disappeared.
I've been looking forward to playing this game. Be a shame if it can't run, worse if I've spent my money on it once it's released.
- Open the WindowInfo.json file located in the games's installation directory
- Change the "DISPLAY_MODE" value to 1
- Save the file and run the game.
I had the same (or very similar problem), and this worked for me.
I also installed the latest C++ Redistributable from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
And, changed WINDOW_RESOLUTION_WIDTH and WINDOW_RESOLUTION_HEIGHT values in the mentioned file, to 1920 and 1080, respectively.

When this comes out in a month and I have the $40 (based off of the pricing on EGS) I am gonna mess around with Reshade and make this already amazing looking game look even better (in my own perspective, also SuperDepth3D with Red/Cyan Anaglyph 3D glasses)
It's running in 2K, all ultra, 60fps
GPU: PNY GeForce RTX 2070 8GB GDDR6
CPU: Intel Core i7-9700KF
RAM : HyperX 16GB 3466MHz
SSD: ADATA 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe XPG SX8200 Pro
Screen: 2560x1440
Although I'm not exactly sure which one of two actions i've taken was the real solution, but one of them was updating GPU with the drivers that were released today (446.14). Try that.
