GTA IV Savegame Installation??

I Played GTA IV for 50 Hours, got round about 70% and reinstalled Windows then.

I thought the savegame was saved online, so i lost my original Savegame. I found a Savegame with nearly the same progress, but i cant install it. I tryed it to save in the "My Documents" Savegame folder and in the "Local/AppData/" Folger, but both ways dont work. I jsut get a Error: Diskproblem, Reinstall"

Damn, i played so hard (I got all pigeons, i wanted to do all monster stunts now) but now everything is lost...... I tryed XliveWrapper too, it worked to load a Savegame, but i dont have access to Xbox Live then. So i saved the game again, deleted the xlive.dll and started the game normally. But then the game just starts a new game, it doesnt load the prevously saved one.

So what could i do?

Sorry but you lost your profile.. Yes I know sucks.. it happened to me with 99% completition

Next time please download (free no BS) Game Save Manager v3.0......... problem solved.

Easy , play first mission let it auto save , then just copy your old SGTA412 to the save game folder ( it's in appdata - local , you need to show hidden files to see it ) - it will then load from your last auto save , worked fine for me :-)

Lol nice from Steam, my save-game is corrupt now on 50%. And can't download a similar save-game. This was the last game I bought via Steam. Steam sucks ass. My pirated version of GTA IV works fine. Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Christ, no wonder I never buy games. They always find a way to make me regret it.
