GTA 4 Mods , Help Needed

So i wanted to put this glasses :http://www.gta4-mods.com/player/mirrored-glasses-for-niko-b-beta-f17119 , so i downloaded OPENIV and opened playerped.rpf , imported the files and saved , nothing happened (cliked the edit button )and it didn't worked so i downlaoded SPARKIV and did the same thing , press save but when i want to rebuild the archive the rebuild icon is greyed out , and i don't know why , either way , i just saved them , nad when i use the trainer and go to the glasses section i find just the default game's glasses , checked oher sections ,they weren't there , my gta version is 1.0.7.0 NON-EFLC , help is much appreciated :D

Update : I can mod weapons with Spark IV the rebuild icon isn't greyed out but when i want to mod clothes just the "save" icon isn't greyed out , really odd ...
