Custom Music options?
In the old GTA games I've played in the past, I could point to my music library & it made the game a very memorable experience. Does GTA IV for the PC have a feature to play various music files? I've discovered that I can only play GTA games on the PC as I get tired quickly of the pre-canned music & the custom sound is one of the primary reasons I love the game.

Yeah, you should be able to put mp3's and wma's or shortcuts to them in the My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\User Music (Win 7) folder. Then do a complete scan in the Audio menu.

Oh, I forgot, you should then be able to hear them in the Independence FM radio :3

Does it support ogg files as well or aac/alac? San Andreas and Vice City did.

No, I don't think so. Rockstar support page says it's only mp3, wma and m4a.

Looks good. I'll need to setup iTunes for my m4a's I guess. ALAC is m4a. I wonder why they gave up ogg or perhaps it's a hidden feature?

The irony of all this is, Ogg Vorbis is not something that would be used for regular use in a music player, but rather just for games as a space-saver or time-crucial purpose.

BTW Valve is doing Steam box with Nvidia which means it cuts their cost but ruins anyone with a AMD card.

What? Off topic and nonsensical.
