Why Is Flying So Hard?
Flying in this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard!!! My heli freaks out when i'm not even touching the keybroad. It takes me 20 minuutes to land on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ building. 20 MINUTES! it's a pain in the ass.

Any tips?

Well, if you REALLY CANT use the heli controls, why not plug in a gamepad?

they're just terrible! maybe
Just use an Xbox 360 controller. The analog controls make it incredibly easy to control all the vehicles in GTA IV (cars, bikes, and helicopters).

FWIW, I'm not just being flippant here. I've logged over 80 hours flying choppers in GTA IV with gampad controllers (mostly in Hangman's N.O.O.S.E. co-op missions for the platinum trophy on my PS3). I hate trying to control a chopper with KB+M.
I find it hard either way. Flying is even hard on my PS3, even if I have SIXAXIS enabled.
Put the camera in close-follow mode (3rd person view) and micro-manage the camera controls with the thumbsticks as you fly. Practice makes perfect. Eventually it will become second nature.

You can always steal a helicopter from the Heli-tours, fly it away to the top of a large, flat-topped building, and practice the controls. Going for the "Under the Radar" achievement will allow you to improve your flying skills, because you have to fly under all 14 bridges in the game.
It is hard, use a controller if you can/have one
