No sound on GTA IV
The game will load up with the GTA Music, but then throughout the actual gameplay there wont be any sound?

I have tried updating the new drivers and turning the stereo mixing? Anyone got any other ideas?

Right click the system sound icon in the taskbar and select Playback devices. Select speakers and click Properties. In the Advance tab, set the sound quality to Studio Qyality. See if that works.

No that still doesn't work. It works through my headphones tho? They are gamecon 780 7.1

Again on the speak properties, select Playback and choose say Speakers and Set Default.

it is really winding me up this is. The character will disappear sometimes when I load it up. I have to quite the game and re-load it!
