Why my character has gone invisible?

ive tried that, my computer accually reaches the requirements but it just happened so im uninstalling it and installing it again to see if it works.thats my solution for every game that bugs out on me and it normaly works. But thank you for help.

I had this issue earlier, I changed the refresh rate on my monitor and that solved it. Good luck

actualy i just figured it out my vsync was off and when i turned it on he became visible

It happens to me now I just shutdown my PC and play another game and I open gta 4 again a pop it works can see my character again I think it's a one time error because I'm on the final mission now

I got this one. Quit and Relaunched steam and Nico Bellic stopped being a ninja :)

I had the same problem and still have. Quit, relaunch, new save, uninstall & reinstall to no succes. It happends when i load up the save for the 2nd time.

Same thing happened to me just now. How do I fix it? Literally, when I pull a gun, it's just a floating gun. And when I get close to people, they disappear too.

To anyone still playing. I found a quick fix is to go to Graphics. Change anything like Video mode. Hit space bar to apply. On the next screen where it ask you if you are sure just Escape to not apply changes. This also works if suddenly the game looks dark as well.

this happened to me twice now what i think it's a auto save glitch
because every time that glitch happened it was a auto save

I gave my first Steam "award" to RebuiltTheZeal for his answer which was the answer except I think it was the opposite for me on the V sync (I had to turn it off):
