One reliable way to reduce the frame rate is to install the freeware version of FRAPS, and then enable video recording during that portion of the mission. Video recording in FRAPS defaults to 30 FPS, which is a speed that will reliably enable you to climb into the helicopter and complete the mission.
Sir, thank you so much. It does make sense when I think about it. In GTA III, there used to be a frame limiter which you needed to enable else the physics will get messed up. Anyway, I finally passed the mission and there was only 2 mins left of gameplay lol.
I was using Autoit on a project of mine, when this problem occured. When compiled, it creates an EXE (32 or 64) which will simulate pressing the space bar. It works on the active window, does nothing until the <j> key is pressed, and ends when the <k> key is pressed.
I found that the game goes between the controller and keyboard inputs in a hearbeat, so for me the key selection doesn't matter.
#include <Misc.au3>
Local $hDLL = DllOpen("user32.dll")
While 1 ;Always true
;press j key and hold
If _IsPressed("4a", $hDLL) Then
Send("{SPACE 9}")
sleep(40)
; press k to end
ElseIf _IsPressed("4b", $hDLL) Then
ExitLoop
EndIf
WEnd
DllClose($hDLL)
Thank you, Captain Obvious. I can't believe no one has mentioned FRAPS in this thread already! ;)
Cela confirmerait la version de Razorback : si la QTE est faite pour un jeu en 30 fps alors si on est a 60 fps il faut appuyer deux fois plus vite d'ou l'utilité d'utiliser deux boutons avec ses deux mains!
Merci beaucoup @ Razorbaclk
----English version ---------------
I have a simpler solution : You'll require to use an Xbox controler and your keyboard! When the Quick time event starts, press repeatedly the A button of your Xbox controller with one of your hands and press repeatedly the spacebar with your other hand ! It workerd for me!
That could confirms what razorback said hereabove: if the QTE was made for a 30 fps display then running the game with 60 fps would require pushing the buttons twice as fast. That's why using two buttons with both hands works !
Many thanks @Razorback
Awesome, worked perfectly!
