Fusionfix and proton

Game runs perfectly using proton without asi loader (dinpuit8.dll) however when I do the DLL override using winecfg or
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command% via commandline the game simply doesn't start

System:
Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS (64 bit)
Kernel Name: Linux
Kernel Version: 6.5.0-18-generic
X Server Vendor: The X.Org Foundation
X Server Release: 12101004
X Window Manager: i3
Steam Runtime Version: steam-runtime_0.20231127.68515

At first Rockstar Launcher wasn't working because wine was set to Windows 7 or 8, so I set it to 10, and then the launcher would launch but the game never would.

Rename dinput8.dll to dxgi.dll or d3d9.dll and no need for any launch options / overrides.

Which folder? pfx? Will this allow the launcher to complete?

edit: Files with these names already exist in the pfx folder.

You just need to copy the files to the game folder (where the executable is) then rename dinput8.dll (that comes with fusion) to d3d9.dll, you don't need to change anything in the pfx or do anything else.

I'm still working on a fix for my game, but you might check this out[www.addictivetips.com]. I'm trying to xlive.dll thing because I think that's the problem with mine, Step 8 if you can't find it.
