Graphic bug - Invisible characters

Well. I bought GTA IV yesterday and finished the download a few hours ago. After I dealt with all the GFWL ♥♥♥♥, I could finally run the game. But directly at the beginnig of the game, non of the characters were shown. They were invisible and even when I got in the game, I didn't see the guy I was playing.

I am running a GTX 760 with the newest drivers.
Is that normal that it acts this way? (I guess not) I haven't had any problems like this with any other game before. How can I solve this problem?

If your graphics card has 2GB or more of Video RAM (VRAM), you need to run the game with the following command lines:

-nomemrestrict -norestrictions

Ignore everything above the text in the bottom paragraphs that starts with the words, "If you are using Steam, try".

It took me a while to find out where do I have to copy the command lines tho. However, the characters are now visible.

After all, the game doesn't really run smooth. But I guess that's the fault of the horrible pc-port.

Running this stupid game on 15 FPS on LOW.

They should make games for PC and NOT consoles first.

Nate to necro this thread but you have some other issue. I get easily more than 15 fps on higher than low settings using integrated graphics.
