Graphics/Texture loading issue - Black boxes

I've looked around and couldn't find anything that would help.

This happens all the time (the black boxes) no matter what settings I use. They're always in the same place as well. Roman's face doesn't even load - it's just boxes.

When I turn the character around, or he lifts his arm up - the boxes disappear.

I'm running GTA on a Windows 8.1 64bit OS inside a parallels VM on a Mac (mid-2013 8gb ram). The VM has 0.7gb VRAM and 5gb RAM and access to all 4 cores. I've not had problems with running games in the VM up until this point.

Any help is appreciated :)

They are artificats I guess. This game has issues running in Windows 8. Right click the game icon and goto properties and make the game run in Windows 7 or XP compatibility. Hope it helps!
