Uncontrollable bikes
Playing on my i7-based PC any but the most minimal turns send bikes into terminal, uncontrollable spins. Cars aren't nearly as stable as they used to be, either, but bikes are just about unusable especially the PCJ. Does anyone know if this is an issue with using a keyboard instead of a pad (of course Rockstar only let you use Xbox ones) or is it the power of the pc making things respond too quickly?

I have no issues with cars or bikes using the keyboard.

they are fine But do take a bit of getting used to. The fact that they are unstable makes them far better to get away from the police as you can corner very easily. I dont think it is the issue but try turning vsync on to force 60 fps and see if makes any difference

Your inputs are tied to frame rate so for most cars it's fine but the extra sensitivity on the bikes makes them unusable. Lock the graphics to 60hz/fps and you'll be good.

FPS cap at 60 helped me. It looks like more fps I have, more tires are spinning in one place.

dude thank you. you have changed the game for me. been struggling with bikes for weeks. tried my xbox elite 2 controller and that worked for the handling problem but killed the frame rate. tried working around the controller issue for a while but no luck.
I can now play lost and damned.
Thanks.

I had a further issue on the final mission related to frame rate. during the final chase you make a jump on a dirt bike to a helicopter. when jumping you are prompted to push space to get in the heli. with my FPS locked at 60 all space bar would do it change the camera angle.
the fix that worked for me was locking the FPS at 30 and it worked first time.
