Social Club Unavailable

Does anyone know how to get social club to connect properly? I want to try the game online, however social club will just be listed as unavailable. I have tried disabling paul.dll, patching, and tried to download the RGSC standalone application, though it seems like it has been deleted from R*'s site. Havn't been able to find any fix that works, and looking for ideas.

Note: Social club works fine for me on LA. Noire, and the browser version. Just the GTA IV version that is messing up. It has never worked for me.


Edit: So I finally got the multiplayer working. In case anyone has the same problem, here is how I got mine to work.

1: Download the old Rockstar Social Club 1.1.3.0 Here is a link for it: http://www.solidfiles.com/d/9ef54265c7/RGSC_1_1_3_0.rar

2: Make a backup of your GTA IV and EFLC save files!! The social club installer will for some reason delete your entire game, including save files. Make sure you put a backup somewhere outside your GTA IV Folder.

3: Next, install the Social Club standalone. It will automatically install into your GTA IV Folder and delete everything there.

4: Once RGSC is installed, go to your Steam library, right click GTA IV, hit properties. Change the tab to local files, and verify game cache. Steam will then redownload GTA IV for you.

5: When GTA IV is downloaded, go to your GTA IV folder, and find a file named "Paul.dll". Delete it or rename it.

6: Run the RGSC application in your GTA IV folder. Log in with your RGSC account. And hit "Play" when you are logged in.

7: Once the game is running, log into GFWL, and give it your games serial key if it asks for it.

8: When you are ingame, open your phone, select multiplayer, and you should be good to go.

Look at your gta iv folder and se if you can find xlive.less folder download dsound.dll instead and extract it there but if you do that you need your xlive.less.dll gone

Hey, thanks for the answer. I don't have xlive on GTA 4. It is a clean install with no mods, and xlive is for mods as far as I could research. I tried download dsound.dll, sadly didn't work.
