Well, there's directinput and then there's the newer xinput. The directinput switch is for compatibility, it would seem. Doesn't actually enable gamepads in game.
As for which controller to get, I read xbox one only just recently got windows drivers and they are not that great, with some games not working.
After work, i tried to enabling direct input under controller option, had no problem finding it. But the controller still doesnt work. I guess i am just going to have to grab a 360 controller on payday?
360's were going cheap over the holidays, they are selling them out, I reckon.
It's a shame that the xbox one controller only works through USB on the pc. No wireless, yet.
Yeah im going to have to go to Walmart and see if they have a controller. Or if i can buy used would be superb.
