iCEnhancer 3.0 Problems
Hi, I just installed iCEnhancer today and I encountered some problems. I dont know if I should ask about it here, but I will try.

First of all, I installed the mod to shorten the wait for GTA V and also to test out whether or not my PC will be able to run GTA V when it comes out.

The first problem is the performance of the game. It used to run at around 50 FPS all the time before, now it dropped to 20 FPS. I know iCEnhancer is a great FPS eater, but my PC is not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ one. I can run most new games maxed out perfectly fine. Assasin´s Creed 4 runs at 45-50 FPS completely maxed out. I even asked my friend, who knows his share about PCs before, whether or not my PC can run iCEnhancer, and he said that it will run it maxed out completely fine. Another thing that can cause this issue is, that I am using the 1.0.7.0 version of GTA IV. Will the game run smoother if I downgrade? Can I downgrade even if I still use GFWL? Anyway, I will post my specs, so you can decide where the problem lies. Note, that I am not an expert on hardware, so please correct me if I make any mistakes and please dont laugh.

Specs:
Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series
Processor: Intel Core i5-4570 CPU 3.20 GHz
RAM: 8GB
Source: 600w CoolerMaster

Thats all I know. You could also help if you told me whether or not I am able to run GTA V. If the problems with iCEnhancer are caused by my PC, I would like to know how to uninstall the mod. I already made a copy of my vanilla GTA IV file, I just dont know what to do with it.

If a miracle happens, and the performance problem can be fixed, so I can keep iCEnhancer installed (I would really like to), there is another problem. When I entered the game with the mod installed, the first thing I noticed, besides the performance, was, that some cars were missing their rear lights. It looked like they are broken. I looked the bug up on the internet, but I didnt find anything about it. So, if anyone knows anything about this glitch, I would be happy.

Thats all. Please excuse my English if its bad. I will appreciate any help.

Thanks!

You can try downgrading to 1.0.4.0. That gave me a bit more FPS (5-10). When you downgrade to 1.0.4.0 just remember to use the right version of iCEnhancer. The rear lights missing in cars is just a problem with iCEnhancer I think. I don't think there is a fix for it.
Thank you. Although, can I downgrade even if I use GFWL? Also, which version of iCEnhancer is the one you are talking about?

You need to make sure you grab the 1.0.4.0 version of iCEnhancer. You cannot use the version for 1.0.7.0. The 1.0.4.0 version of iCEnhancer is on the website so download it there. The 1.0.4.0 version of iCEnhancer will disable GFWL, which unless you want to play for acheivements, is not a big deal.
Will I still have my saves?

I am unsure if a 1.0.7.0 savegame will work on 1.0.4.0. I do know however, if you downgrade and use iCEnhancer the savegame folder is moved, due to no GFWL. If you do downgrade, just make a backup of a 1.0.7.0 version of GTA, and a backup of your savegames, so if anything does not work you don't have to reinstall.

I just tried to load 1.0.7.0 game on 1.0.4.0, it did not work.
Ah, okay, that sucks. Can I uninstall iCEnhancer though? If so, how? I made a backup of the vanilla GTA IV folder, but as stated above, I am clueless what to do next, I dont want to screw something else up.
Just delete the GTA with iCEnhancer installed and replace it with your vanilla one to uninstall it. Save games are kept in separate folders so you won't lose them.
The GTA file or game? (I am seriously a ♥♥♥♥♥♥)

If you backed up all of GTA IV (The entire "common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV" or something close to that), delete the GTAIV folder and replace it with the one you backed up.
I made a copy of the GTA IV folder. So I delete the modded one and leave my copy there?

Yes
Alrighty then. Wish me luck.
I deleted the Vanilla file, but the game wont even start, it says "missing executable". Any help here?

Go to library rightclick GTA IV > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache
