Fix this game.

I'm sick and tired of having to do weird ♥♥♥♥ to play this game. like fusion fix, or straight up downgrading my game (as i was force into this update) to the old versions that Rock-star stopped selling. forcing many people to edit their files to even get this game running on their system.

I genuinely feel it should be illegal to force those who've chosen to buy this game at a working state i.e. v.1.0.8.0 to a product that does not work i.e. current re-release. FIX YOUR GAME! I because i didn't buy this.

People need to wake up, normal people shouldn't have to put in effort that major nerds would consider minimal like Deerz here. We should be able to choose to have our game as we bought it OR as it is now with the re-released and I shouldn't be forced to introduce 3rd party software to get there. I should be able to on Steam.

Thing is, it does work. If you load it up on a 10 year old Core 2 Duo with Radeon HD 5850, many funs are to be had.

Generally/in theory I would really disagree with a post such as yours. I.e., if you can not or don't want to ♥♥♥♥ about with 15+ year old essentially PS3/Xbox360 games on modern PC hardware then please consider not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about with 15+ year old essentially PS3/Xbox360 games on modern PC hardware while the rest of us retain the option of said ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about.

Unfortunately "GTA IV: The Complete Edition" sort of interferes with that standpoint due to both being and not being a 15+ year old game. I.e., yes, it core-wise still fully is, but was still as recently as 2020 "upgraded" to (remove multiplayer and) foist Rockstar's mandatory private DRM/account on you just so that they could keep selling you it as playable on current systems.

So, yah, sure, have them fix it. But it's at the same time via the existence of FusionFix not exactly rocket science to do so yourself:

EXACTLY had to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do a 2 hour hunt on the internet trying 4 different fixes to find out there is a simple fix called FusionFix to even allow my game to not crash on the first mission which is a KNOWN issue for the PC port.

Not the issue. fusionfix fixed my game it fixes all the damn problems the PC port has like crashing on the first mission stuttering in cutscenes or just crashing in general. game was not made to be played on 3070 TI's been BUTTER since. its STUPID that i HAVE to do that to play the game. it was a NECESSARY modification that I shouldn't have to do. you should be able to understand why I was upset.

your game crashing,the problem is your pc fix your pc.the game works fine with or without fusionfix.and simple copy paste something in your game folder is too hard for u sry to say but pc gameing is not for u switch to console gaming it will be easier.

No it's absolutely not simple as that, you must have a dated PC build as that is the only way to play and experience this game without issue. Windows 11 users and especially windows 10 users experience issues like not even being able to OPEN the game from the launcher... not usually by default. Also for people like you, Windows 10 on older hardware produces better results when playing older titles, but the game shoots itself immediately in the head with the thought of running on current gen hardware and OS. "sry" to say but you ONLY seem knowledgeable on "pc gameing" So please keep to yourself in my discussion, what you have to add is not helpful.

it is, had to refund it. ridiculous that like 10 years later i cant even run the game as well or at all. I HAVE WAY BETTER ♥♥♥♥ NOW. I dont get how they can mess up a re-release so badly. i legit can down-grade my game to the og version and it run perfectly. what have they done.

many gamers said the game works fine and u ignore their comments and my pc is better than yours your pc can't run gta v and crash:))the problem is people like u that have zero idea about pc and troubleshooting buy pc and expect to run games like it's console.when u experience crash in games is something wrong with your pc if u can't fix it pay some expert to fix it for u:)just fix your broken pc.
