Is there any first person mod for GTA4:CE, that doesn't need to downgrade the game?

I heard that downgrading the game will off/decline the achievements, which sucks for me. But I also want first person to the game (like GTA5), so is there any way without downgrading it?

As far as I can see it doesn't work at all...

Phantomkick's link is to the first-person mod for version 1.0.7.0 / 1.0.8.0, i.e., the downgraded game. Now, FusionFix includes Ultimate ASI loader, so maybe he/she is saying that it should work on the CE as well when simply installed -- but it certainly doesn't here.

Unzipping FirstPerson.asi (and the .ini from one of those embedded zips) to <SteamLibrary>/steamapps/common/Grand Theft Auto IV/GTAIV/ has it attempt to load but here the only actual result is "Unable to load FirstPerson.asi. Error: 126".

Makes sense to me since the mod is explicit about being for the legacy 1.0.x.0 version, but if Phantomkick is saying it's working on the current CE for him/her, seems they should expand a bit. Does nothing for me.

(and no, if you downgrade to 1.0.x.0 Rockstar- and Steam-achievement do not work, although if not mistaken there's a mod again to in fact have them work)
