I am not able to play online for some reason there is no option.

Yeah, you can’t play online anymore. They removed that option a while back. They shut the servers down a while back now.

Middle of this year i wanna say so June to July time period don’t know why they removed local multiplayer too but they did

Stop spreading misinformation.

The official multiplayer via GFWL still works (and is a pain to setup, wouldn't bother with it if you can't port forward as you'll have issues connecting to people). Alternatively, just download GTA Connected, which is the old Multiplayer but with actual servers instead of Peer 2 Peer.

I’m not spreading misinformation you cannot access multiplayer literally if I load up the game and bring up the phone. The multiplayer option is gone, so how am I spreading missinformation? If you have to use third-party software and mods to restore multiplayer functionality then it is not official multiplayer functionality the official multiplayer mode has been shut down for a while now The only way to get it back is to use third-party software and mods which are not official in which rockstar does not support

If I’m spreading misinformation, then please prove me wrong. Show me a video of someone accessing the multiplayer mode in 2024 on a fresh clean install official copy of the game on the current version that the Steam version is on no mods no third-party software no downgrade bet you can’t

It actually is because it involves using a third party software not made by rockstar do you not know that which also violates rockstar’s tos

Rockstar has never made any official mods or downgraders themselves those are all community made files and programs and therefore fall under the third party category
