Mods dont work

I have bought gta4 from steam and i've installed some mods but they dont work. Game just loads normally without any mod working. Anyone can help please? :-(

Details. What mods? What hardware? Any commandline options used?

If they are script based, you will 99% of time need scripthook & xliveless.

I instaled some .ASI mods like ragdoll mod or some other not .asi e.g better blood, big car damage and what are commandline options?

Ok, so you'll need scripthook and xliveless as mentioned and an asi-loader.

Commandline options are passed to the game via commandline.txt file in the game main folder. Needed for troubleshooting starting/crashing issues. For example:

-norestrictions
-novblank

I dont have any commandline.txt in my game folder is it bad?

Do you see files asilog.txt or scripthook.log?

Those files will show what scripts were loaded if any.

in asilog.txt it says that .asi script is loaded but in game it doesnt work :-(

Mod script is unable to autodetect game version can i configure it manually?
