GTA IV Vanilla Fixes V1.6.3 - Bugfix Megamod for Complete Edition

Hello GTA IV fans,

over the last months i worked on a handy mod which merges all free available GTA 4 fixes to one big drag & drop package. It took me a lot of time & testing, replacing and editing files, modifying the archives, so that everything works perfectly together. The size is now 2.75GB !

The purpose is to bring tons of fixes to the vanilla game - not modding or changing the game.
Of course you can use it as a base to do further modding with your game.

The fixes are too many to list them all, but here are the base-packages i used for my compilation (or elements of it). You can google them for further details.

i didn't restore the radio stations. When i tried, i always run into some problems. I think i will try it for the future.

I never was a fan of commandline.txt in general. For most people these "tweaks" made the game worse and with latest patch you dont need it anymore in my opinion.

The .dll is way more handy and easy, because you have to consider that this works for all sizes of VRAM, where in the commandline it has to be specific to the system.

How does this work? Do I need to decompress the file first?
The readme file states "Just drag & drop to your GTAIV-folder". What do I drag and drop? The file "GTAIV_Vanilla_Fixes_V1.6.2" or its content without the parent directory?

It fixes many cosmetic glitches and drawbacks. The crash you have is specific to your PC / OS / game config as nobody else has it.

Post in this thread only if you have something to say about this pack.

My game does not crash during intro cutscene. I tested it several times.

I think your game files are corrupt-

I installed latest FG repack with your modpack and I think your pack still has leftover bad vegetation fix file from old FusionFix

pc\data\maps\props\vegetation\ext_veg.ide

It makes tree foliage static.

Sadly no, Zolika patch does not work for Complete Edition

@ant_sh I have removed the old vegetation fix file from the package and updated it.
