gta 4 control setting

my ps5 control can only look in 4 different directions when i try to look around and i cant free aim how do i fix this

I'm not sure if the PS5 controller is available natively on Steam, but if it is, i'd reckon that the haptic features of the PS5 controller are conflicting because the game is quite old. Your best bet is to seek out a means of mapping your controller inputs outside of Steam's controller support
