Audio quality

Hello there...

is it just me, or the audio quality of this game is kinda bad? to me everything sounds a little bit distorted, with a distinct high pitch to it, like if someone was talking really out in front of the mic.

for comparsion purposes I put my old PS3 GTA IV copy and the audio there sounds just fine.

anyone else notice this? or is it only me?

I have this game on all 3 platforms, and the audio quality is the same for me on PC as it is on the console versions. Maybe something with your sound card set-up or audio driver?

Could be... this is the only game giving me this issue, hmm, I am using my GTX 670 HDMI audio, so maybe something to do with that.

Is it going to a PC monitor or an HDTV? If the former, you may be able to switch to another input type (e.g., DVI-D).

PC Monitor, I think I can still keep video via HDMI but just install the audio drivers and use the MOBO audio to give it a try, after I do that we'll see if the sound clears up (I hope it does)...
