The driving in this game is god awful
The slipperiest turning I have ever experienced in a game like this. It's actually stupidly bad.

I love it. Its like driving a large boat about and when you get the car into that "swing" it's driving is sublime. "Swing" is my own term but what I am trying to say that the cars have gravity and momentum and if you get it in the right spot it all makes sense. Well I hope I do.

Imagine now knowing how to drive, so ♥♥♥♥ off.

 I LOVE the driving in GTA 4. So FUN to slide around and taming the horsepower of the car. :47_thumb_up: So tragic that R* dummed it down for kids in GTA 5. They should do like the Mafia series has with 2 driving options: "Arcade" (GTA 5) or "Simulation" (GTA 4) so much more people can enjoy the driving mechanics. I love the more heavy feeling.

Bruh, he complained about the vanilla game being slippery, he doesn't need a mod that actually makes it so.

Bruh, I am actually using this mod and most of the cars slip way less. It's pretty obvious just from watching the gameplay.

Alas, if the OP doesn't like the handling even with this mod, he can try this one instead - https://www.nexusmods.com/gta4/mods/60

Maybe slippery was the wrong word? It just feels incredibly stiff at even a brisk 30 MPH.

While I like the driving more realistic (like in GTA IV or Mafia 2), almost all cars slide too much when taking turns at higher speeds. OP called it "slippery", so I used that word as well.

That's why I posted that realistic driving mod. It solves the OP's issue. It also makes the driving noticeably better, and it's really good vanilla already. When I tried it myself, I ended up just driving around the map for over 1h trying different cars.
